How to update? It keep stuck at the last part of the install.

After the patch, game still shows 1.03 at the start menu. Is that normal?

I did it, now the .exe won’t load and leaves a text file saying “Registered crash info file …” Help please

It stucks on the finishing installation and re-loads it over and over again

How do I update? There’s only an .exe. It seems to work as if it was a new installation, asking for the directory and warning that the game is already there.

it says 590 mb but the patch from the link is 6.3 gb. what is that?

Just run the installer and choose the folder where you have the game installed. You might get an warning saying that the folder already exists, it’s ok hit Yes and let it install, then hit finish and let the checker check the files after all files are checked and ok close it and launch the game from the shortcut on the desktop and it should work. It will say 1.04 in menu.

guys try to install the update in new folder then copy everything to game folder

So i updated 2x…
the first i updated directly from the installer to the CB2077 game folder. Menu says its 1.03
the second timeI made a new folder, took the update files from the folder, manualy moved them do the game folder… still on the menu says its 1.03.
Is updated? Cuz, i dont really know.

The installer after 40+ mins did not finish updating. Am I doing something wrong? At the beginning it said something like “steam_emu.ini can only be read but after retrying it started installing.

It seems that you have to wait around 1 hour until the patch is installed, so don’t close the installation window until it´s done. Also, for CODEX version, you may need to copy again the crack files to the installation directory

well you have to wait for last part to finish, it takes really long…I forced quit 1st time and it broke my game so dont do that…I had to reinstall whole game.

Hey guys, if you have no dialogue sound, it may be because you don’t have the full language pack installed, so try edit the files :
steam_emi.ini located at \Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64
You’ll see a line starting by “Language=”, set it back to “english”
Audio dialogue should work again

Installed into game folder. 20 gigs from my pc was gone after that. Why did it wipe so much data from the game?

So, i tried to install this codex patch in my game first in C:/Games/Cyberpunk2077 and notthing changes then i tried to install this update on the install folder of the game in program files and when it was ending the install my PC suddenly shutdown (I know it’s yeird, because it only shutdown when i tried to install in the game folder) after this i tried to open my game but it didn’t open. forcing me to reinstall the game. I heard that this 1.04 update is with problem in instalation even with legit copies of the game purchased on GOG. So… i’m not sure what is goin on here, but i can’t install this update.

Voice is dead. narrations went silent. Using Eng before updating and haven’t installed codex voice pack
anyway to fix it?

it’s work for me
1. i install on custom folder then i paste it to main folder
2. I install it again, this time in main folder which the files already replaced with the file from the custom folder before

so i installed it 2 times and it works
the main screen said 1.04, and i check it with quicksfv its said everything good!

Works perfectly fine
1. Run as administrator
2. Here’s most peoples problem; Install in your Cyberpunk directory (the installer is automatically set to c:\games\cyberpunk whatever, chose the folder you insalled your game, For example, mines installed on E:\Games\Cyberpunk)
3. The last part of the installer WILL TAKE AWHILE, I’ve got a fairly high-end pc and took 20-30 minutes (made a cup tea, sandwich) so this may take longer, depending on your pc, if your running a potato, it’ll take much longer.
4. DO NOT TASK END THE LAST PART OF THE INSTALLATION (Doing this, you are essentially deleting important files)
5. No audio dialogue? Go into the cyberpunk directory (Cyberpunk 2077\Bin\x64) find the steam.emi.ini file something like that, find Language line and put in English

There are fucking no seeders. I downloaded it with an amazing speed of 0.5 KB!!!

Boys I’m not a bot and it really works no cap, the installation takes a while yes so DO NOT close it before that.
Make sure you are updating into the correct file since C./Games/Cyberpunk 2077 doesn’t work and is just a pre guess by them so make sure its the right one.

Is anyone having issues with textures popping in? e.g cars looking like cardboard boxes then loading in the closer you get. not a torrent problem the torrent is fine. (thanks mate) more so if anyone could point me in the right direction of which settings are causing it? Tied it on low med high and it does it regardless.

The update is working totally fine when you think the installation is stuck it’s not stuck or stopped actually just wait for about half an hour it will be fine and successful and the in game also shows 1.04

When i try to open the arhive i get this message: “The arhive is either in unknown format or damaged”….
