Please perform the following steps.
1- File explorer > View > Activate the “File name extensions” box. —> https://imgur.com/a/72KfnHl
2- Extract the “sg2240-MEEX.part01 -or- sg2241-MEEX-500MB.part01” – Right Click > Extract Here (after extract)

PC games are not strangers to crashes and Metro Exodus is no exception. Here are a few things you can try to fix Metro Exodus crashes.
For some players Metro Exodus in crashing die to DirectX 12. If you have enabled the DirectX 12 option from the menu, revert it to DirectX 11 and the game won’t crash.
If DirectX is not the issue then outdated GPU driver might be the problem. Download and install the latest drivers for your GPU and also turn off any third-party monitoring tools like MSI Afterburner.

**** (Running GTX 1070 / DX12) Game froze on me too when monsters in tunnel had me pinned down. Went back in settings and turned one or two graphic settings a step lower. Next time it ran smooth and hasnt froze again in over 3 plus hours of gameplay. You can also try underclocking your GPU just a little. I remember when I had a 580 I had to do that a few times on the newest games with a dated card and games never crashed or froze again. Just something to try when everything else doesn’t work and you are ready to delete it from your SSD and wait till skid releases the next epic game. *****

Nice game, but we definitely need an update for this game. I am stuck at the lighthouse mission. The bug is Guil is up in the tower and won’t come down, and I can’t do anything in the basement without her help, because she must operate a control panel to open a door for me.
I have the option to restart the whole chapter to see if the bug still manifests itself, but I put a lot of work into it and I am not willing to. So yeah, game over for me until the patch.

Patch 1.0.0.1 please. Game works flawlessly but would love to play in 4k extreme settings with ray tracing on. Only way this is possible is with dlss and the new patch allows me to do this. Thanks in advance

I have a serious problem, I can’t load my save games. I see that the CPY saves games into documents/CPY_SAVES but there was no such folder there. I found my saves in the regular documents/Saved_Games/metro exodus/’lotsofnumbers’ folder, there are files like ‘m3_05_player, m3_05_bridge, m3_autosave, m3_quicksave, user.cfg’ but I there is no option to continue on the main menu of the game, it won’t just let me load.
I tried creating a CPY_SAVES folder in the documents and copying the saves there but that didn’t work either. I’m stuck, no info oon the net about this PLEASE HELP!!

Please can a crack for the latest update be considered? There have been a handful of patches that will no doubt fix our issues with game crashes.

Game broken without new updates!! you can play around 1 or 2 hour and then you will have a bug where npc stuck somewhere and you have to start the act from beginning. thats so annoying! not worth to play without new updates!
I didn’t had any game breaking bugs or crash(playing directX11) game is fine don’t scare guys who didn’t play the game, update would be nice but nothing is wrong with game!
Guys, I’ve been eagerly waiting for the Ranger Update because I was hoping it would make the game perform better (less lag, etc.)
However, I did some research all over the web and this update has not been cracked yet. It’s impossible for Skidrow Codez to upload something that doesn’t yet exist.
It looks like we will have to wait for steam version next year so codex/skidrow could crack it.

The sad thing is that even if the Ranger Update gets cracked and uploaded here, the game will probably still play like sh*t. Still looking forward to the crack though. I think that we are waiting on the CPY group to crack it. Wish it was cracked already.

Secondly, where do you think the first CPY version of Metro Exodus came from? Probably Steam. Because the game was available on Steam for a while. That means Steam owners of this game already got the updated version. Which means, we don’t have to wait another year for this game to be brought back to the Steam store. There already exists an updated version on Steam and the cracker just needs access of the newly updated game files. I bet anything there will be a crack for this Ranger Update sometime in the next 1-6 months and that we won’t have to wait a full year. Hi, do 1.04 update is cracked?
Hello, downloadad the game from rarbg, but had no crack in it. I downloaded the crack only from here, but cant extract that file with winrar. Tried to copy it in the game directrory and start the game, but get a message that there is no application to open this file. I dont understand how to get the real crack files??
I did some checking and the group who cracked Metro Exodus – CPY, has not cracked any games since then. They have not cracked any games since Feb 19-24, 2019. So the problem isn’t that they don’t have the updated game files (from Steam). It’s just that they haven’t done any cracking for almost five months now.

downloaded cpy torrent, but when installing i get this error “An error has occurred while trying to copy a file: the source is corrupted.”. I rechecked the torret for lost files but still not work. Anyone with this problem? Any solution? Thanks.

when opening the game it just takes me to the steam page when i can buy it
use crack,everything from CPY folder(files only) copy paste to ur game folder(place where ur game is installed) then run ur game from desktop icon.ull know if u doing right thing if it ask u to replace files click yes.
