In order to deal with this ever-growing threat, a mercenary group called The Pilgrims appears on the scene, earning their money with protection missions and the passing on of expertise.
Their newest member is Eddie Jackson, a former US Navy SEAL whose wife was kidnapped on a cruise ship by unknown assailants. There seems to be no motive for the attack on the ship and no ransom demand has been made. The player takes on the role of Eddie and embarks on a desperate search for his beloved wife. He fights on the side of the Pilgrims against various pirate and terrorist groups that are making the area unsafe.
Little by little, he discovers more and more clues that lead him to his wife and the incredible secret behind her disappearance. The story comes from the pen of experienced designer Matthew Miles Griffiths, who has managed to write a gripping, deep and intriguing story with several storylines.
