THE HOUSE OF THE DEAD 2: Remake is a remake of the second entry in the well-known and popular rail-shooter series. Take on the lone role of a secret agent as James or Gary, or team up in co-op mode to neutralize the dangerous undead monsters standing in your way.
In February 2000, a small city was suddenly overrun by hostile creatures. Two AMS agents, James Taylor and Gary Stewart, were sent to investigate. Upon arrival, they noticed that the situation resembled the Curien Mansion incident from 1998. Determined to uncover the source of the infestation, they began shooting their way through hordes of creatures.

This is an absolute dumpster fire right now. Performance is a joke, frames drop like they’re allergic to stability. Everything’s so damn dark you might as well be playing with your monitor turned off, and no, cranking up the brightness doesn’t help.
The environments? Half-finished. Some buildings look like the devs just gave up halfway through lunch. Missing textures everywhere, so you’ll get to enjoy staring at lovely flat grey nothingness. The voice acting? Sounds like they grabbed random people from the street and told them to “just wing it” after two beers.
And the crashes. Oh, the crashes. One minute you’re playing, the next the game just dies like it owed someone money. Honestly, this doesn’t feel like a finished product, it feels like a rushed student project that somehow escaped into the wild. Do yourself a favor, wait for a few big patches before even thinking about touching this mess.

Don’t project your lonely, basement-dwelling misery onto me just because your social life flatlined years ago. I wrote a review, you wrote a whiny little tantrum, guess which one actually adds value? Now go back to whatever corner of the internet still tolerates you before your mom calls you upstairs for dinner.
