– It is the program you use to extract the compressed files and use the TEMP folder, and consequently it takes up space, of your disk “c”, and not the patch itself, and that path is set by Windows.
– If you inquired before writing bullshit, you discovered that there is a method to change the default path of the TEMP folder used not only by the extraction program, but by many others, and in addition to saving you this bad impression, it would have fixed others future hassles.

How to make a backup copy
As in everything there are several ways to do it, one is to ask Google, if you don’t get the desired answer, ask the question in a different way.
I do it like this, I write in Google the name of the game: “Forza Horizon 5”, then I add “Steam” to go to the store, being on this Website it is even more direct to go to the link above. This takes us to [https://store.steampowered.com/app/1551360/Forza_Horizon_5/] only with the address we already know the Savegame folder, it is the identification number that has been assigned to this game.
[https://store.steampowered.com/app/—–>(1551360)<—–/Forza_Horizon_5/] and so on with all games.
By default the savegames are saved in drive C: if you search in c: 1551360 you find the folder, copy this folder to another drive such as D:\Games\_Saves Backups\FH5.
In my case, my savegame is in C:\Users\Public\Documents\Steam\CODEX\1551360, it barely occupies 2MB.
