Granblue Fantasy takes place in the Sky Realm, a world where myriad islands float in a great blue expanse. Take your role as captain of a skyfaring crew, joined by a scrappy little dragon named Vyrn and a young girl with mysterious powers named Lyria. Together you sail with a colorful cast of crewmates, including kings and misfits alike, for Estalucia, a fabled island beyond the end of the skies.
In the Zegagrande Skydom, islands are guarded by powerful creatures known as primal beasts and winds carry tales of a secretive organization known as the Church of Avia. Unveil a web of intrigue reaching far beyond the borders of Zegagrande and engage in a battle for the fate of the Sky Realm itself.
Gameplay
Engage in real-time combat with a party of four in this character action RPG—choose from a diverse roster of skyfarers, each with their own unique weapons, skills, and combat styles. Teamwork makes the dream work with party-based mechanics such as Link Attacks and Chain Bursts to help you crush foes in spectacular fashion. Tackle quests solo or with the help of others for up to 4-player co-op and take down treacherous foes to score rare loot to further enhance your gear. Every enemy and party formation has its own strengths and weaknesses—the key to victory lies in working out how these pieces fit together.
Fast-paced combat not your thing? Assist modes can provide accessibility for gamers of all skill levels. Toggle on Full Assist to have all actions performed automatically during battle!
The Sky Realm is rich in lore and history. Browse Lyria’s journal at any point during the game to access a trove of writings on the world’s peoples, places, and more. In addition to the wealth of side quests available, Fate Episodes allow you to delve into the backstories of each member of your crew!

Don’t play this game until an update is released it has massive amount of bugs including an audio bug where the audio keeps cutting in and out constantly which makes understanding what the characters are trying to say during cut scenes really hard to do.
I just looked on the steam community hub for the official version of the game and the audio bug is even happening to the official version as well. This game unplayable currently.

why it says I got no license in steam? Can’t play cuz of this error
that is because you didn’t apply for the crack(in the RUNE folder) to the game files.

The game runs fine on my mid PC(specs: I9-9900K, 32GB RAM, RTX 4070+ SSD)
Able to play 4k ultra(no sound issues as mentioned above+ Xbox controller.
The game does drop in fps around town and cutscenes now and then but it should be fixed in next update IMHO.

black screen at launch 🙁 anyone else having this???
many people on the official version are experiencing crashes and black screens at launch and some are experiencing audio issues with both the Japanese vo and the English vo. for the black screen at launch please refer to the steam community hub for the game as a fix was created and mentioned there. for the audio issues and crashes we will have to wait for a patch to be released to fix those issues unfortunately.
it seems potato pcs with either a 3070 or worse gpu can play the game perfectly. But the pcs with higher end gpus like a 3090 and 4080 or better gpu are having problems with the game including myself with a 4080 gpu. I tried this version and I just tried the official version and both I experienced the exact same problem aka the audio issues where the audio cuts out like every 3-5 minutes.

I think I understand now. those who have many years of experience should’ve known way too well that high end GPU or latest expecting many game might not have well optimized. I remember back in cyberpunk a lot of people complain about rtx 3090 is not well optimized and ran 30 fps on the strongest gpu back in the day. While my rtx 2080 super is so perfect rarely encounter any crashas or bug during cyberpunk launch version. I never thought the same goes apply to this game as well. Any high end gpu from 3080 or above will encounter a lot of issues. I read your comment and want to test the game myself start to play for 5 mins and haven’t encounter any crash or black screen at launch at all. All audio is perfectly in sync.

The rtx 2080 is now considered a potato gpu just like the Intel 9th gen cpus are and like I said anyone with a 3090 and 4080/90 gpu is having problems with this game. for whatever reason this game is only working on either really old hw or low end hw. It’s like Cygames only tested the game on low end and really old hw bc from what I’ve seen in the steam community hug for this game the people that have intel 13900k(f)(s) or 14900k(f) or a am5 7800 or better cpu and either a 3090 or 4080/90 gpu are having problems with the game and either getting crashes, black screens on launch, or having audio studdering issues like myself with a 7800x3d cpu + rtx 4080 gpu.

Where is the save data stored? I checked %SystemDrive%\Users\Public\Documents\Steam\RUNE\881020 but there’s no save files there.

Rune release it’s 2.99 GB
Elamigos release it’s 11.7 GB
All files are identicals. But the files in Rune version have smaller size than Elamigos version. did Rune compress the files?

Checksum CRC32 corrupted. Try n use WinRAR to extract it n see which parts got checksums corrupted n redownload it.

For everyone whose lost save gave afte update 1.0.4, I found somethink new way on NexusMod with little touch in NexusMod located in “C:\Users\(your name)\AppData\Local\GBFR\Saved\SaveGames”
1. Open Systemdata.dat with Hex Editor or Notepad++(must install plugin Hex editor)
2. Copy First Line Code from 0 to 7 (xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx) there 16 code
3. Open Savedata.dat you want to restore with Hex Editor or Notepad++ Paste 16 code before to Line 4 – B (4 5 6 7 8 9 A B)
4. Save and done, i tested and work, cuz i try use save other people on NexusMod and recheck

1.5 doesn’t work because of the granblue relink launcher application.exe all other items you need to copy and paste are fine iv also copied the application.exe launcher on its own to the original files but still doesn’t work and vise versa so downloaded the game again and copied installation files into my installed game and it works but it’s gone bk to 1.3 but untill there’s a fix I will stick to 1.3
