New Witcher Game Announced by CD PROJEKT RED

CD PROJEKT RED today revealed that the next installment in The Witcher series of video games is currently in development with Unreal Engine 5, kicking off a new saga for the franchise and a new technology partnership with Epic Games.

We’re happy to announce that the next installment in The Witcher series of video games is currently in development, kicking off a new saga for the franchise.

This is an exciting moment as we’re moving from REDengine to Unreal Engine 5, beginning a multi-year strategic partnership with Epic Games. It covers not only licensing, but technical development of Unreal Engine 5, as well as potential future versions of Unreal Engine, where relevant. We’ll closely collaborate with Epic Games’ developers with the primary goal being to help tailor the engine for open-world experiences.

At this point, no further details regarding the game — such as a development time frame or release date — are available.

REDengine, the technology which powers Cyberpunk 2077, is still being used for the development of the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 expansion.

I always heard everyone praising The Witcher game like it-s some sort of role model when it comes to gaming.
Decided to give it a shot after a while, and right from the start, i was forced to go look for Mods, just so that the game could be normally playable. Simple stuff, like for example, a mod for the camera, a mod for the HUD in game, a mod to optimize the textures…… And that-s when it began, the endless loop rabbit hole of THE WITCHER MODS. So that-s when i concluded, CD PROJEKT RED games are NEVER fkng complete!!!! Cyberpunk? the same shit, if u wanna have a NORMAL experience, u need a couple mods to do so. I don’t agree with that. i think that, when a game is released, u shouldn’t need to find fixes MADE BY THE COMMUNITY just so u can play the game CD PROJEKT RED made u believe existed. It’s NEVER, EVER like they portrait it to be.

So, that’s when i officially gave up of playing games made by CD PROJEKT RED. Please, take in account, i only decided to experience The Witcher 3 (GOTY EDITION) for the first time, months after Cyberpunk 2077 was released!!!!

CD PROJEKT RED, for me, never again.

Can’t wait for the new witcher game with 500 pound morbidly obese elves. Anorexia pygmy dwarves. And a trans poc anxiety riddled main character and her quest to retrieve the 2 throuple simps that live with each other in public housing.

Ah…they didn’t learn anything from the Cyberpunk mistake. They are annoucing it now, and will be out (probably) in 4-5 years. And again, we will see big hype and all…looks like history repeats itself.
