Does anyone know how to install mods onto this
Yes, right click on game icon on desktop–> Open file location –> Run “dowser” as an administrator –> “Ignore” the warning that u are not connected to steam–> On the right side u will have multiple options click on “All installed mods”–> “MOD TOOLS” –> Create new mod –> Give it any name, write the game version, write the name u choose in the directory box (ex:Name:”1080p UI”….Directory:”mod/1080p UI”) –> choose a tag( does not matter witch one) and save
Then go to Documents–>Paradox Interactive–>Stellaris–> Mod–> There u will have the a folder with the mod name (ex “1080p UI”) open it and there u extract the files of the mod u want to install except the “descriptor” witch u already have.
U can download the mods on this site: https://steamworkshopdownloader.io where u put the URL link of the mod from the steam workshop. U will also need winRAR to open the downloaded content.
Sound complicated but it’s not that hard if u have any question I will be happy to help.
Note that this method works for all paradox games.
