This is a humble but thorough attempt to recreate the success of early Master of Orion game, keeping you away from planet micromanagement and allowing to do pure research, strategy and tactics. The planet control was simplified to the economy triangle (new!). Fans of Master of Orion will feel here like home.
Here, I try to introduce concepts like importance of reconnaissance, invisibility and sabotage missions at the enemy territory. Resources are scarce, so every loss of a resource matters. It is also open space, so you won’t be able block a star node to prevent enemy from entering. Instead you will keep perimeter well scanned and patrolled. Fleet control is way more automated than usual, to facilitate real-time gameplay: all fleets are moving simultaneously, so they all follow some directions you set for them. This mode is different from RTS, and more similar to turn-based gameplay in a feel. Have a try to see a difference.
Even though the game was imagined as a multiplayer online game in mind (coming soon!), included computer player will surprise veteran space strategy players, be sure about it! Stay tuned for updates about the online game.
And it is fair play, no hidden costs, no microtransactions to win, just pure fun.
The game ​brings open space to explore, intense battles, crafty AI, space fleet automation. All of it well sauced with novel realtime gameflow.
Uncover the secret of dark matter and construct fierce space fleets. Reveal enemies plans with tachyon scanners and sabotage the enemy cargo flows. Test gravity weapons and bomb them away from their home planets!
