Hi guys, to launch the game, don’t use the EXE on the main folder, go to : \Warhammer 40000 Space Marine 2\client_pc\root\bin\pc then use Warhammer 40000 Space Marine 2 – Retail.exe
Tested just now, it skip the easy cheat test and go to game directly 😉
You’ll see a message tell you that you need to retinstall but just skip it and it work

As said by viva, seek in the install folder and apply the crack, that’s the basic thing to do before anything else, maybe the installer don’t copy RUNE folder as it said, i alway do it manually to be sure.
I saw that online-fix is already working on a crack. I think it’s only a matter of a few days

figured it out, go to the installation folder for the torrent, and copy the contents of ”RUNE” over to client_pc in the game’s installed directory. then load it with the no retail version of space marine 2
Everyone complaining didnt even see the option to copy the content of RUNE folder in installation menu… Ofc its not gonna work, you didnt cope the crack to its folder.

Im getting a crash at the start menu, right after pressing any key to enter it, it says “EOS Log-in error: Epic Online Services missing in local files. Please close and verify…”, which when skipped then says “Connection Lost”, and freezes the game bringing up the crash reporter and force closing.
Any ideas would be appreciated, I tried installing Epics launcher to see if maybe it was a missing DLL or something but that didnt work either. Emperor disconnects, brothers

@betoplay Esto sucede cuando se tiene menos de 8GB de VRAM en la tarjeta de video, si tienes menos de 8GB no hay nada que hacer, el juego puede correr relativamente bien durante unos minutos y luego a falta de VRAM no puede cargar el resto de texturas y por eso se ven cosas invisibles por que la tarjeta grafica ya no tiene suficiente memoria.
Whenever this happens is because you don’t have enough VRAM in your graphics card, if you happen to have 6GB or 4GB (anything less than 8GB) the game cannot load the textures this means you are done, there is nothing else to do other than get a new graphics card.
Who happens that the enemies don’t come out or sometimes the character doesn’t come out either, what could it be…

FIRST you have to open the crack folder “client_pc” then open Warhammer (wherever it’s installed) and take the “client_pc” folder and drag it into the “Warhammer” folder that’s installed on your pc and click “YES REPLACE FILES”

Not sure why all the complaints. The game works just fine. Make sure to copy the contents of the crack directory to the game install folder (tick the box in the Rune installer)
Game crashes in every major cutscene, in the missions it’s fine, but in between… I’ll be lucky if cutscene goes through.
And after like 5-6 missions it just crashes instantly with cutscene starting, can’t even skip it.
Game needs patches, a lot of patches.

Very short campaign, all missions are the same, you fight the same enemies and hordes all the time, you have 2 dumb bots that follow you around like stupid dogs. Very poor single player experience its another soulless co-op oriented game. If you expect an epic single player experience you will be very disappointed don’t bother downloading

Game seems to be fine tho. It’s either some overlay (Nvidia, Adrenalin or any other gpu supporting soft), Windows version or Driver version. Not in any other game this happened to me before, super frustrating.

It was fuckin AMD Adrenalin overlay… Had to use custom Asus one, zero crashes so far
And it turn on automatically after some time and crashes the game anyway… not as frequently though

AMD is not the amd from 10 years ago, I would say that their CPUs are more superior now than Intel, but graphics cards are behind than Nvidia’s, yes. And drivers updates still arrive with delays… However, I had no issues with it before Alan Wake 2 I think, only that game managed to successfully fuck my gpu. And now some bs is happening with this one.
Even Cyberpunk never crashed for me, like ever, hardly any game tbh, only this one…

I applied both patches, but I can only launch the game from “client_pc/root/bin/pc/Warhammer 40000 Space Marine 2 – Retail.exe”, and then connecting online fails.
If I try the “Warhammer 40000 Space Marine 2.exe” in the main game folder, I get an error saying Unrecognized Game Client – Cannot continue.
Is there any tutorial/guide somewhere on how to make this work, and play P2P?

Listen, I also had a problem with the lack of a license, the solution turned out to be ridiculously simple. the computer detects the installer as a disk, go there and find the RUNE folder. there is a crack of the game. and only the file in this folder will run the game.
hi, i try to use nexus mods, and those mods just replace default_other.pak and default_other.pak.backup file in client_pc/root/paks/client/default, but the game got crash when i try to start, but it went back ok after i replace those back with the original paks file. so anyone have a solution will be great to share here, tq.
