It’s messsed up yeah, it’s missing 5 files that break the entire game so it crashes at launch.

Same, crash on start up, the text Flatline doesn’t even appear anymore, and It says missing 5 files.

Update works just fine, just make sure you install it in the right folder and make sure to install 1.04 before installing 1.05

Why does it say Press [none] to continue instead of Press [space] to continue then CTD

Even gog patch is 9gb size how’s it’s so less

i’ve already install it and it’s works fine

my installation step:
1. make folder to contain 1.05 file
2. install on that folder
3. copy paste to main cyberpunk folder not inside bin/64 folder
4. install it again with the installer, this time use the main folder which have file replaced by 1.05 before
5. check with checksum

it’s works and in game version shows 1.05 and can run the game
make sure to unload/uninnstall any mod or nexusmod file.. mine goes glitch because of reshade

I just install patch 1.05 in the game folder and it works fine

roll back your exe before updating if you use avx patch!

Something I ran into when installing the patch 1.05 it removes the inputContext.XML and Inputdeadzones.XML files under the path Cyberpunk 2077\r6\config location at least I had it backed up so I just put those files back.

Also it removes the Options.json file under Cyberpunk 2077\r6\config\settings\platform\pc if that is the case you need to download a options.json file from a mod community like nexus mods I downloaded the better FOV mod from here https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/20 that gave me the file I needed then just copy the file to Cyberpunk 2077\r6\config\settings\platform\pc again to fix that issue

but then open the downloaded options.json file and right at the top you will see “version” change that to 65 it has to be the same as the options.json file located here Cyberpunk 2077\r6\config\settings at least that was the problem I had because there was a CRC mismatch when doing the checksum I hope this helped some of you guys

I installed the parch and it works but i dont have any text. just like no language was selected. there was missing files but those were other langs that i didnt get. Help please!

If anyone has problem starting the game or it crashes, notice that it says “Press [None] to Continue”. This caused by lacking the inputContexts.xml in the path “Cyberpunk 2077\r6\config”, just search the file online and paste it there, or you can find the “Single Tapping Dodge – Double Tapping Crouch” on nexusmods that includes the original file as backup.

Worked for me! I used the CODEX version, the elAmigos 1.04 update, and now this one and it installed fine. Make sure you’re installing in the CORRECT GAME DIRECTORY!!!

the patch works well lmao if u install mod in nexus or something getting inside will crash like no spacebar i did fresh reinstall cause i try the patch with mods on nexus there is no space bar and it crash now fresh install 1.03 patch it ot 1.04 after patch it to 1.05 it works perfectly fine

@Anon01 I dont use any mods and it doesnt work, i had to reinstall the game to play on 1.04 again..

As far as i can tell, the files that get removed are the files that most have edited for performance fixes and due to them being altered the patch removes them.

I just use an xml file to use E key instead of F for interaction, neither way the patch removes a los of files that arent touched. This needs a Crackfix V2

I reverted to 1.04 because this 1.05 glitches textures and lowers resolution to 800×600 even having it at 1080. Ill stick to 1.04

anyone having trouble rolling back to v1.04 ? 1.04 is giving me the flatline error since i tried to install 1.05 and v1.04 was working fine prior to installing 1.05

v1.03 is working just fine

I installed this to a clean codex install previously patched to 1.04 after removing reshade and making it 1.05. I’ve played about an hour and no issues at all so far. Just make sure you have no mods before installing 1.05 patch. Mods are incompatible with 1.05!
For people wondering how to install the patch, just run it and install it to the folder your game is in, like “d:\cyberpunk 2077” or whatever.

I have a problem. Ive installed that patch directly info main folder of my Cyberpunk, as have I done with patch 1.04.
Now my game doenst even start. It simply opens crashreport app, I can’t do anything.
Any solutions?

Does updating the game to version 1.05 cause you guys to not be able to load your previous character in version 1.04 of the game. I just want to know if I will lose all my progress when updating to the newer version,

The update doesnt screw your save game, you can load as always your progress. Its just an update like the rest of games xD

If you have problems installing the patch, install it on a different path than that of the game, then copy and paste everything. I installed the patch in another folder, then copied it and pasted it on the main folder of the game, worked very well for 1.04 and 1.05. Remember to install the patch as admin.
The game does not erase your save file, dont worry about that.

After updating the game spanish menu and subtitles aren’t available anymore to select…audio is still fine tho . Any solution?

For everyone having problems with any of the updates, here’s what fixed it for me. I think the reason it didn’t work is the installer relies on opening a batch file that wasn’t really running. A good way to test this is to Open Cmd promt, if it immediately closes, there’s a good change this will solve your problem.
Alternatively, you definitely have an issue if, after you install the update the normal way and go to “C:\Games\Cyberpunk 2077\archive\pc\content” (or your install dir), you see files ending in .patch since those should have all been merged and deleted during the install process.

Step 1: Install the patch to a SEPARETE directory
Step 2: Copy all contents to original install directory and overwrite with the patch files when asked.
Step 3: Instead of running the installer like some have suggested, open “Run” form windows search, then open cmd.exe /d, or use a separate cmd promt (portable version can be downloaded)

After applying the 1.05 patch, I notice that textures quality of the game has lowered. Is it normal? Do you also notice this problem? Also Dlss quality has worsened: with 1.04 patch Dlss performance was nice to look at, now with 1.05 it’s horrible
