The game won’t start now. No error messages. It just won’t start (no process in task manager).

First of all, thank you very much for the patches, but this is crashing the game, It’s was working on 1.05, but with 1.06 is crashing
I think it might be the previous mods I installed that’s causing issues. But unlike 1.05, I can’t see anything that I can revert back to its original state. Unless someone more knowledgeable finds out which files were changed, I’m just going to resort to reinstalling the game and updating from that point.

now I’m afraid to install the 1.06 and crash my game again :/ but my save game is almost 6 mb, this 1.06 will fix the 8 mb limit I NEEEEEDDD

And for those complaning about these updates not working.. If you modify your gamefiles by using mods etc etc you are causing the problems yourself. Backup your gamefiles if you are about to use mods, so you can revert to the unmodified files before installing patches.
Indeed, that worked. Thanx. When i installed 1.05 patch i was able to install it over my mods and it still worked but i guess 1.06 needs a clean install

Doesn’t work. I’ve never modded the game, patched up to 1.05. Installed this and did a file check on it. 45 files failed the check. Tried to start the game anyway to check and it won’t load at all.

Hi, after installing patch 1.06 textures quality in game has worsened! Everything seems washed out and also Dlss is very bad. If I disable the patch, everything works perfectly again. But if I put the patch again, textures are horrible. Why that? How to solve?
Works fine and shows 1.06 in game.
I used method explained early, worked perfectly with 1.04, 1.05 & with 1.06 :
1- Install it into separate folder.
2- Copy it into main folder of the game.
3- Install it again into main folder of the game….
!!! And most important at step 3 you must “wait” for it to finish, at the end you will feel it stuck, leave it, will take long time (20 minutes or more), until it shows it finished and remove the check from verify files and press finish.

This patch lowers graphics quality a lot. Does anyone have my same issue? It seems that models, worlds, objects and everything looks low quality after applying this 1.6 update
works fine, installed the game, then 1.04 then 1.05 followed by 1.06, waited for all updates to finish, no mods or anything, game started fine, old save still there and working,
where should I exactly install this files?

Knew this was coming soon, 1.05 didn’t fix as much as they thought.
Remember to undo any mods you may have put in especially overhauls and reshades, cause missing/ un-pdated files will cause the damn thing to crash.!

many people complaining v. 1.05 and v. 1.06 decreased texture quality. I experienced the same with v. 1.05 playing with a Nvidia RTX 2080S. Still haven’t tried v. 1.06. I have no mods installed, just the basic game.
HELP!! EVERY TIME I USE THESE UPDATES MY GAME GOES DARK, NO I DON’T MEAN A BLACK SCREEN. I MEAN WHEN I GO INTO THE ACTUAL IN GAME ENGINE, AFTER LOADING MY SAVE FILE. MY GAME IS ENTIRELY BLACK, I SEE THE MAP, I SEE THE ENTIRE UI NORMALLY BUT MY VISION IS BLACK. I CAN SEE THAT MY CHARACTER IS MOVING AROUND BUT I CAN’T SEE ANYTHING, WHEN I GO TO START A NEW GAME THE MALE AND FEMALE V ARE ALSO BLACK IDK WHATS UP WITH 1.05 BUT IT STARTS EVERY TIME I APPLY THAT PATCH. YES I DID ALSO APPLY 1.06 AND I’VE DONE IT THE WAY PEOPLE HAVE SAID, FILES FIRST, THEN THE PATCH .EXE BUT NOTHING WORKS! I CAN ONLY SEEM TO PLAY MY GAME ON THE BASE 1.03. AM I THE ONLY PERSON EXPERIENCING THIS ISSUE???
Had the same issue with the game flatlining on launch. had to do a clean install (keeping the saves) then applying all patches in sucession.
After that Reapply the mods.

How to apply crack is it after installing all patches? Plz help
when i try to update 1.03 to 1.04, i noticed that some files disappear and others are reduced in size. I have tried to install several and several times but without success. I have already uninstalled and installed it on another HD but the same problem occurs when I update. I can only play in version 1.03.
I already tried the CODEX version, FitGirl, ElAmigos and nothing … In the GOG version the update is stuck at 1% and after a few mins an error message appears as if the files were incompatible. But the files (updates) are exactly the version that I installed.
I think I will wait for a version to come out that already comes with the imbued updates (included).

you can rename it whatever you want but i like to fuck steam .
